Niaw, my new baby car
This is Niaw (pronounced as “neo”), my new filmmaking companion.
It is named by its Godmother Jipei, and the name means “the one”.
It is a 2002 Hyundai Accent 2-door Hatchback Manual Transmission. 37 per gallon and only 67000 miles!
I love it. I am a very happy person.
ps. Notice the liscence plate is “HKv” !!

The Godmother speaks: hehe, feels goooood to name this new precious thing you now own. … Maybe, it is not ‘named after’ me, but named ‘by’ me, or rather, Jipei named it…no big deal. If you like, the pronunciation can actually be ‘neo’–I knew I typed ‘neon’ when I came up with the name, but ‘neo’ is probably more consistent with the meaning of the word as well as the sound. Anyways, I feel extremely HONORED, and…I still don’t know how to drive!!!
Good luck!

Jealous. It’s so hard to have a car in HK. not talking about the purchase price, but the monthly regular expensve. sigh.

it doesn’t cost that much in US. beside the basic insurance and the gasoline. plus, u don’t need a car in HK.
Car is a luxury in HK, but its a necessity in US.
